You really are ugly....

Okay, so before you think that we are recruiting for the Lobster Festival Ride Operators, hear us out. We at Planet Toys really like Ugly Dolls. And, even though it may be "emo", we really like taking pictures and posting them places online. To make ourself feel better, we scoured the World Wide Web and realized that we aren't rare at all, we are the majority. So, we decided to make a contest for the majority, and it goes like this:

WHAT IS THE CONTEST, ALREADY?
First off, you don't have to be ugly outside or in to win the contest. Like we said before you just have to like taking pictures. You send us your shipping information, and we will choose (completely randomly) a couple of these peeps, and send them an ugly doll in a cardboard box in the mail. Also in the box, is a disposible camera. Your job is to take your new ugly doll friend out and about, or around the house, and document it via the camera. Then you drop the camera off at either store and keep the Ugly Doll. We'll feature your disposable camera mastery in a full article online. You'll become famous...and prolly leave us in the dust. But that's fine, cause we're too busy playing with stuff to be famous.

HOW DO I WIN AND GET A FREE UGLY DOLL?

Easy as pie. Well....eating pie at least. Send us a brief statement on why you are ugly. (ie. I am ugly because I want to marry Tray, the pink three eyed ugly doll, and live in a castle...in the clouds) It can be as simple a statement or as large as you chose. Include your address at the end (the place you'd want the box to arrive at), and cross your fingers. The first round of the contest ends the 26th of May.

Congratulations to Tracker (a 1 year old Red Bone Coonhound owned by the Clark family of Northborough, MA) and Colleen Pennington of Wiscasset (age 12) for there great Webkinz names! With over 50 entries, it was hard to pick. In the end these two names rose to the top. We couldn't decide which was best, so they both win one!

The winning names were:
Chewtoy (who chose a monkey Webkinz)
and
Sally Michelle Spice (who chose a polar bear Webkinz)

So today is the last day of the Webkinz contest. We have gotten over 50 entries thus far, which is really far beyond our wildest dreams. The response has been just amazing, and we are really pumped that people are coming to our blog. We have been made aware of a couple kinks and ways that we can improve, and we welc0me your suggestions by the truckload. Are You Wacked Out?

Yes. We are wacked out. We have a secret stash of Webkins that we want to let you in on. Why? Cause its alot more fun to give than recieve, except in your case, we're recieving is gonna be pretty sweet. So you got your creative juices flowing? Great...here's what you need to do:

You may not be aware of it. But not all Webkinz are able to find loving owners. Sometimes, they get lost on the way to the store. They fall off the back of trucks, fall behind the toy counter, or other awful fates. Well today, we would like to share a story of hope. Two such webkins have been found! Lost in an un-marked box in the Planet Toys basement, there fate was questionable. Today though, they were found, in a rountine check for gabilesnaps in the basement (we'll get into that later, maybe). We found the box, we found the lost webkins, now we need your help to find these cute little webbys a name!


Send us an email with your name, age and what you think the perfect name for a Webkinz would be. ENTRY'S MUST BE RECIEVED BY APRIL 18th! Feel free to make it silly, or weird or a little bit of both. The more original the better. We don't want these little Webbys to go to boring people. No...that just would not do.
